ZATSU -38
Zatsu-38 is a selective systemic pre-emergent herbicide belong to chlorophenoxy herbicide group widely used against broad-leaf weeds in cereal Crop. It is used on a wide variety of terrestrial and aquatic broadleaf weeds. It has little effect on grasses.
Technical Name: 2,4-D, ETHYL ESTER 38 %EC
Mode of Action: Zatsu-38 acts by mimicking the action of plant growth hormone auxin, which results in uncontrolled and unsustainable growth causing stem curl-over, leaf withering, and eventual death of susceptible plants. The salts are readily absorbed by the roots, whilst esters are readily absorbed by the foliage.
