BULWARK
Bulwark is a novel substitute for anthranilamide insecticides. It is a board-spectrum insecticide in the form of a suspension concentrate. It gives protection for a longer duration. It can be used on a variety of Crops such as sugarcane, tomatoes, cotton, pigeon peas, rice, etc.
Technical name: Chlorantraniliprole 18.5% SC
Mode of action:Bulwark binds to a specific receptor in muscles called the ryanodine receptor. When chlorantraniliprole binds to this receptor, it causes muscle cells to leak calcium. The muscles stop working normally. The insect gets paralyzed and dies.
