CLODIP
Clodip is a post-emergence herbicide of Aryloxy phenoxy propionates
group and is used for the control of important weeds in Wheat.
Technical Name: Clodinafop Propargyl 15% WP
Mode of Action: Clodip is rapidly translocated within the plants and accumulates in the growing parts/meristematic tissues. Once translocated, it inhibits the acetyl CoA carboxylase enzyme which stops growth in target species generally within 2 Days.
Features and Benefits:
- Clodip is a selective post-emergence broad-spectrum herbicide with excellent action on Phalaris minor.
- It is suggested to use Clodip when the majority of the grass weeds have emerged and are actively growing.
- It is taken up through leaves of grassy weeds.
- It results in decaying of nodes and growing points in young leaves.
- It shows chlorosis followed by necrosis.
